EdReed.jpgEarlier this morning, I found myself in a predicament that has become rather commonplace over the past few months.  I had logged into this wonderful space with a beautiful white WYSIWYG canvas in front of me, a simple message, witty delivery ideas aplenty... and yet nothing I wrote seemed quite right.  And for a moment, the post I had started seemed destined to become the 13th consecutive (literally) post I'd started but failed to finish.

That, however, just would not do.

And so we begin one of my New Years resolutions - to get back to thinking, reflecting, and writing in this space.  Time to get back in the saddle.  Its what Ed Reed would do.

Happy 2009 all - its good to be back.

Who is Ed Reed? Is he a character in one of those video games you are always talking about?

I think so, if for no other reason than classes demand time and the days don't get any longer. But regardless I found it frustrating not to spend that time free-writing. Classes or no, this semester I plan to make a better effort to keep the flame burning.

Funny! Ed Reed.

Do you think taking classes has changed your ability to post? I find when I am teaching or taking classes that my blog slides into the background. Either way, it is good to hear the voices again!
