About Me

Stub At A Glance
Want to get a look at some of the things I think about?  Here are a few of my favorite posts that I hope will help you paint at least a semblance of a picture of who I am and how I think.

The Bio
Welcome aboard.  My name is Chris Stubbs, and this is my online home.  Regardless of whether it is business, pleasure, Google, Facebook, or one of my many carefully laid internet traps that has brought you here, I welcome you.

So who is the Stub behind the curtain?  By day, I am a Collaborative Developer for the Pennsylvania State Universities' Educational Technology Services group and a senior member of Penn State's Educational Gaming Commons - striving to improve the quality of the educational experience by using technology in support of learning.

By night, I am a digital native, who enjoys his video games and social media shaken, stirred, slow roasted and deep fried.  Put those two worlds together and you set the stage for a lot of crazy thoughts - the Voices In My Head, if you will.

This blog is my space to think, reflect upon, and share those voices.  Inspired largely by my work and my hobbies, you'll find a lot of talk about video games, social networking, education, and society with a side of just about anything.  You are not only welcome to, but encouraged to contribute to the conversation if the mood should sway you - you can only listen to yourself talk for so long ;-)

So once again, welcome to the Voices In My Head.  May it challenge, amuse, confuse, or inspire you the reader as much as it has the writer.

P.S.  I'm obliged to mention that <deep breath> "though this blog may contain references to employer, the opinions expressed here are my own and do not necessarily reflect those of Educational Technology Services or the Pennsylvania State University".
